Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Arkham Catacombs, you agree to these Terms of Service. Arkham Catacombs is operated by Evoke Interactive Inc., a Delaware corporation. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Arkham Catacombs provides an AI-powered interactive fiction game experience. You create characters and play through narrative scenarios with an AI Game Master. The service generates content using one or more third-party artificial intelligence providers, which we may change from time to time as we see fit.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not share your account credentials with others.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts may be terminated.

4. Content Rating

Arkham Catacombs offers content at different maturity ratings (G, PG, R). You are responsible for selecting an appropriate rating. Content rated R may include graphic violence, mature themes, and intense horror. Arkham Catacombs is not suitable for children under 13.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the AI Game Master is procedural and may occasionally produce unexpected, inconsistent, or inappropriate responses despite safeguards. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the characters, stories, and creative input you contribute during gameplay. By using the service, you grant us a licence to process your input through AI systems and store your game data to provide the service.

Game transcripts may be used to generate novel chapters, episode cards, and other derivative content as part of the service. You own the resulting stories.

7. Subscriptions and Payment

• Free tier: 40 turns per day, 1 character, 1 world.
• Adventurer ($9.99/month): Unlimited turns, 3 characters, novel export.
• Legend ($19.99/month): Everything in Adventurer, unlimited characters and worlds, priority AI.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through the account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or inject instructions into the AI system.
• Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically access the service without authorisation.
• Share account credentials or circumvent subscription limits.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arkham Catacombs is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
